The federally recognized 501 (c) (3) AUADD.org charity hopes #GivingTuesday will help continue funding its proven, free teen driver education program.

BURR RIDGE, Illinois., November 29, 2021 / PRNewswire / – In United States, 10 million adolescents (aged 15-19) become eligible to apply for their driver’s license each year. 6.5 million receive them each year.

Since 2003, a charitable organization recognized by the federal government, distributed their “activate safe driving”, daily planner and study guide, to high schools, free. They are transforming the paper form of the life-saving program into an app.

In an effort to continue funding these rescue efforts, AUADD has initiated a partnership with IDonate. This partnership allows AUADD to accept many types (see video for acceptable items) https://auadd.org/what-can-donated) of items such as vehicles, real estate, jewelry scrap, coin collections, works of art, stamp collections, and many other varieties of items. Once a person accesses any page on the AUADD.org site, they will see a donate button. Once the button is clicked, it allows a donor via the drop-down menu (https://auadd.org/donation) to indicate the type of item (including cash) that the donor prefers to donate. The donor would simply click on their choice and fill out (no form to fill out when donating in cash) a short contact form. IDonate would quickly contact the donor to arrange pickup of the item (s). It seems that this charity has made the donation process simple and easy. With all items (including cash) donated, eligible for a 100% tax deduction. AUADD is a 501c3 charity.

“Because we have been fully volunteers since our inception in 2003 (TADD 2003-AUADD 2014), a donor can be assured that every penny of their donation, whether it is money, real estate, vehicle or any other form, will be used for our essential programs. It is a recognized fact that early education of adolescents against the dangers of impaired driving, drug driving as well as destructive driving is the key to better life-saving habits. Lives. Education saves lives! “-William M. Piecuch Jr, founder and president of AUADD.org and TADD

AUADD is also looking for corporate partners. Their site is designed using the map of the United States as a basis. Each state opens on separate pages, allowing each state to set up sponsorship announcements on each state’s page. This allows like-minded businesses to support AUADD’s programs, while building long-term brand relationships, with one of the most coveted groups in teen marketing. With 10 million adolescents per year and perpetually eligible for a driving license, and 6.5 million (source CDC) receiving them. Coupled with their extended families, reaching out to this group, while supporting proven rescue programs, would appear to be a highly desirable action for businesses.

Because AUADD is entirely voluntary, they have one person who will be the point of contact for companies interested in supporting AUADD and moving towards some form of application. This is the person responsible for communicating with potential business sponsors, [email protected]. 844-334-9300. However, anyone in the office, including the chair, will help answer any questions.

AUADD also opens up opportunities for naming rights, rights “offered to you by” and other varieties of opportunities for businesses, foundations, or like-minded people to name the next app after their brand. Ms. Baldini can also help in these categories.

Of course, at any time, any like-minded person can support AUADD and its programs, by making a donation, using this link. AUADD expects the app to start educating teens in early 2022. Based on their ability to attract like-minded people and businesses for their support.
